I was fortunate enough to join the theatre party yesterday and I have to say that as someone new to this I had a fantastic time. Whilst I am not the shy retiring type it can be daunting meeting people with whom you might not share anything in common. However it was a delight to meet all those who went and for those of you who are reticent if my experience is anything to go by then you need not be. Can't wait for the next get together.

I really enjoyed a very nice walk around the hills of Llangollen last time, followed by a great meal and good (Portugese) vino collapso in March, so I would be very happy to come along in September. If I'm entirely honest, I wasn't wild about the white water rafting in March, it was soooooo cooooold. But Llangollen's a great town with superb countryside round about, so it will be my happy privelage to join you all again in Sept.- J

Gutted, Gutted, Gutted! I can't come, Off on travels to New York earlyhours of the 10th and fear if i do attend i'll be taking on a bit too much organising. I am sooo dissappointed as i predict your gonna have great weather, loads of free activities and loads of fun!!. The last sept convention was fantastic so if thats anything to go by then it's definately worth the trip if you can make it.- Dereth

Our India trip was a Great Success with Dee, Nina and Myself All having a Cracking time, We covered a Lot of miles, Saw many sites, Tasted all kinds of food and Smelled many smells, some of them pleasant and some not so ;-) We Travelled mainly by Train but also Bus, Taxi, Tuk Tuk, Boat and Shank's Pony...- Rob

I had a fantastatic trip to Vietnam HCM city in the month of November 06. Was a pretty cool trip...I have been to the remote places for having a close look at the farming life. Its still quite primitive or basic. The people are simple, nice, and happy, always welcoming as is in any village type setup. I could see the variety of crops they grew, and the simple farming rules they played with. One thing for sure you must be ready to accept the vn food, or just carry a pack of bread, butter, jam and a soft drink. ok..thats it guys..c ya later..cheers!- Milind

I can assure you that this site Does work -- I joined C2T last year and within a Very short time I had contacted a member, arranged a meeting, planned a trip which we went on and both enjoyed immensely -- So much so that I posted a note on "Travellers Tales" -- "A Great Trip to Crete"- Rob

This site brings together diverse individuals (of all races, ages etc) who have at least one major thing in common...that they want to explore the planet. That's a good starting point for any friendship!

I have to say that the site is BRILLIANT!!!(and no I'm not being paid to endorse it)! If things like time/resources/work/other commitments didn't get in the way then I'd be seriously tempted to go on every single trip that's advertised......it's so painful sometimes having to be selective.....but some holiday dreams are just going to have to be rolled over until 2007 and beyond!- Deborah
