Heading Icon User Guide

Welcome to the Companions 2 Travel travel partnership. The Holiday Shop is designed to put your holidays in front of people that will but them.

Your unique username and password allow you to access you own administration area. This is where you manage the holidays you have for sale in the Holiday Shop.

Sign inGetting started
  • On the Home Page click Travel Partner Sign In OR Click the link in your Account Activation email
  • This will take you to the Travel Partner Introduction page
  • Enter your username and password
  • Click Sign-in

This will take you to My Account. This is your administration home page.

You can return to this page by clicking My Account

STEP 1: Input your company details

  • On My Account page click on the button.
  • This will take you through to My Details - edit
  • Add your details by completing the form

Brief Description

This description is viewable by members and visitors in the Holiday Company Directory and is limited to 100 words.  

Full Description  

This is viewable by members and visitors via the   View more details link in the Holiday Company Directory. If you do not populate this field you will not be able to see this icon.

  • Click when you have finished OR If you make a mistake click
  • You will automatically be taken back to My Account
  • Please ensure the information is correct.
  • If it is proceed to STEP 2
  • If you need to edit the information, click My Details and repeat the above procedure.  

It is ESSENTIAL that you include your company Web Address and email - our members will not be able to contact you without this information.  

STEP 2: Input your company activities  

** In order to assign an activity to a holiday you must input it here first.
** You can add to this list at any time.

  • On My Account page click on the button.
  • This will take you to My Activities
  • Click Add new Activity to My Activities
  • This will take you to My Activities - add
  • Select an activity from the drop down box and click
  • Keep adding activities until you are happy with your list

** If the activity you require is not already listed click where indicated on the page to add to the main activity pool. The activity will also be added to your record.

STEP 3: Input your holidays

  • On My Account page click on the button
  • This will take you through to My Holidays
  • Complete the form

A few tips about completing the form

  1. Holiday Name: You must give each holiday a name
  2. Brief Description: Please limit information to 100 words
  3. Full Description Page Description: This field is not limited.
  4. Start Date / End Date: You may leave this field blank if the holiday is run throughout the year or on multiple dates.
  5. Availability: Eg May - September. You may leave this field blank
  6. Start location:
  7. Return location:
  8. Price per person: This is always displayed "from £..."
  9. Deposit: £amount
  10. Deposit payable by: this is a date field. You can always elaborate in the Full Page Description if (for example) the deposit is due 4 weeks after booking.
  11. Last minute: Leave this box unchecked if you do not have last minute offers
  12. Last minute start date:
  13. Holiday Website URL: It is essential that you input this information. You can either enter your home page address, or preferably copy and paste the specific address for the holiday.
  • When you have completed the form and are happy with the information you have entered click on
  • You will be prompted to Ensure your holiday details are correct .
  • If you make any changes please ensure you before proceeding

 

** IMPORTANT NOTES - PLEASE READ **

Once you have entered the details you must assign at least 1 activity and 1 destination to your holiday.

Without this information your holiday will not show up in searches.

Our systems need this information to match your holidays to our members.

Assigning activities to your Holiday

  • Select an activity from the drop down box
  • Click
  • You can add as many activities as you wish to a holiday by repeating this process

Assigning destinations to your Holiday

  • Select the continent from the first drop down box
  • Select the country within that continent from the second drop down box
  • Select the town / region within that country from the third drop down box
  • Click
  • You will be taken back to the top of the page allowing you a final chance to check the details you have entered.
  • When you are happy with all the details ....

Your holiday will automatically be sent live unless you tick the box as shown below

Please ensure the information held is correct and up to date.

You can use the Active tick box to temporarily suspend holidays from the system. We advise you do this rather than deleting details as this will save you from having to re-enter the details at a later date.
