Day 1 London/ Normandy FranceSet off at 7.00 am (you should plan to be here no later than 6.30am) from the Globetrotter Inn, Ashlar Court, Stamford Brook, Ravenscourt Gardens, London W6 0UT, UK. Cross by ferry to France before we visit the historic Normandy beaches where the Allies landed in June 1944. With our campsite close to the landing sites you have a great opportunity to explore and reflect. Day 2 Normandy FranceToday discover what the troops really went through at the Museum of the D-Day landings and Omaha Beach, before heading to Mont St. Michel. An impressive granite island fortress, isolated at high tide - the views from up here are amazing! Day 3 Cognac FranceStunning scenery surrounds us as we travel through the heart of France to the provincial town of Cognac - and there's nothing better than a distillery tour to taste the town's namesake! Day 4/5 San Sebastian SpainThe surf's always up in beautiful Biarritz where we stop for lunch. We then head to another beachside city - San Sebastian - great surf, great tapas and great nightlife awaits! Day 6/7 Madrid SpainToday we continue to the Spanish capital - Madrid. Royal Palaces, Museums, and Plazas are all sure to impress, but there's also plenty of free time to discover the vibe of this cool city for yourself. Day 8/9 Barcelona SpainColourful Gaudi buildings, bustling markets and offbeat cathedrals - today we head to vibrant Barcelona. Marvel at the unique sites the city has to offer on our city tour. Discover the hidden nooks of this amazing city on your free day - a day for you to explore at leisure before we head to a spectacular evening Flamenco show. Day 10 Lyon FranceAnyone for cheese? Delight your taste buds today as we cross the French border again travelling to Lyon, the gastronomic capital of France. Days 11/12 Paris FranceEnjoy a tipple at a Beaujolais winery and lunch at medieval Semur en Auxois before heading on to lovely Paris. Once in Paris it's game on! You'll recognise all the famous sights on a city tour during the day. Also prepare to be dazzled by this stunning city in the evening on our nightlight tour. Shop, eat, sightsee - the choice is yours the next day but make sure that you make it back for our champagne picnic under the Eiffel Tower - very posh! Tonight maybe board a River Seine cruise or visit and experience a true Parisian cabaret show - so many choices! Day 13/14 Lauterbrunnen SwitzerlandSit back and prepare to be gob smacked by the breathtaking Swiss Alps travelling to the glacial valley of Lauterbrunnen. Breathe the Alpine air on mountain walks or for the best seats in the house take an optional trip up the awesome snow covered, 4000m Jungfrau Mountain. Day 15/16 Florence ItalyToday we continue on to Florence, the home of renaissance art. Gaze in awe at the buildings and history of the city on our walking tour. Shopaholics beware, there's beautiful jewellery and leather goods aplenty! In your spare time get up close and personal with Michelangelo's David or stroll the famous markets. Day 17/18/19/20 Flotilla Sailing GreeceAhoy me hearties it's almost time to set to sea. Ferry from southern Italy overnight to Greece. Get out the bikinis and boardies as we set sail on the Ionian Sea for three wicked days flotilla style. Ah the life! Soak up the sun and swim by day, and feast with the Greeks in tavernas by night. Even test your deck handling skills helping crew the yachts under the watchful eye of our local skipper. Day 21/22 Rome Italy / Vatican CityToday our chariot heads to Rome. Wicked buildings, food and people - see if all for yourself on our walking tour - who knows, toss some coins and your wishes may all come true at the magnificent Trevi Fountain! For the world's finest art, the Vatican Museum is where it's at so get busy on our optional tour. Day 23/24 Venice ItalyGet ready for a day of romance! Get loved up as we stop off at fair Verona, home of Romeo and Juliet, before hitting unique Venice. Rubber neck at the palatial mansions supported on stilts from your gondola and take in the sights on our special city tour. Impress your friends with authentic Venetian beads and see the Venetian trades people at work at a glass blowing demonstration. There's plenty of free time to get amongst this wonderful city yourself. Day 25/26 Tyrol AustriaCameras will be clickin' as we head to the beautiful Tyrol region in Austria. Before arriving at our picture perfect village of St Johann, there is time for white water rafting. Our accommodation in St Johann in a typical Austrian Hotel is something else! Our free day here is sure to please the adrenalin junkies. Paraglide from the Alps towering above our village, or try your hand at a tandem parachute jump. Or take in a hike in the surrounding alpine pastures. There is so much to do in this corner of Europe. Day 27 Rhine Valley GermanyBeautiful vineyards and picturesque country fields set the scene travelling to the German town of St Goar on the romantic Rhine River. Like a scene out of a picture book, cruise along the spectacular Rhine viewing the medieval castles on the hilltops, best of all we get to stay in one tonight. Day 28/29 Amsterdam NetherlandsWake up and smell the flowers! Today explore the city of canals, bicycles and flowermarkets - Amsterdam. The best way to do this is on Topdeck's exclusive bicycle tour complete with local guide. At night check out Amsterdam's famous nightlife or jump on our optional Canal Cruise after your farewell dinner. Day 30 London EnglandFamous beers and chocolates, tasty mussels, picturesque setting - end on a high note in Brugge, Belgium before heading back to the UK. No doubt it will be a teary farewell to many new friends as we arrive back in London at approximately 8.00pm - but there's still a lifetime of memories from our adventure to be had!
